From my perspective, I would love to see this. I don’t want defenders/vendors to say offensive security is the problem. I love the idea of defenders building platform agnostic defenses against the underlying issue attackers use. That actually solves a problem.

That has always been a weird play last year there were a bunch of arguments from defenders about offsec needing to publish all TTPs but the majority of those defenders take those TTPs and sell them back in the form of intel or private sigs in EDR/etc

That is exactly the problem. I believe that defenders could solve this problem. All ranges of people could provide detections of a variety of intrusions. But they don’t. It hurts their bottom line. And offensive security is the easy scapegoat.
