I thought pleading “no contest” was effectively agreeing to be guilty, isn’t that the case ? I thought the judge told him not to try to spin the judgement in his favor, isn’t that what he is doing ?

yes, and the judge also told him , that if he publicly disparaged the victim and the disputed the victim statements, he would go to jail. JG needs to go. Both Brad Gilbert & Tim Mayotte have announced they are running for the America's seat. Either is a welcome change.
