Our housing scarcity, is due to political corruption in our cities leadership. Our zoning and permitting process is the cause of this supply shortage, and to resolve it the answer is much less not any more government involvement. Reform Zoning, instead of implementing socialism.

It also costs north of $750k to build a single unit. Just one. Permits, fees, labor etc., not to mention site acquisition. Unless I’m mistaken, this is [one of] the most expensive cities in which to do so.
