Usually I've started off by making the bosses way too hard and had to nerf them, so this was a real big surprise. Anyway, uh, you can see for yourself in just ten days whether the playtest cohort was right or if they were stacked with too many true doom murderheads.

Based on playtester feedback, I... am actually BUFFING a boss for the first time ever? I really thought Jo's all-new mechanics were going to be hard enough to master, but everyone agreed that she was too easy! It USED to be she could only have one active AOE at a time! No longer.

Today I'm working on writing the in-game help page for one of my favourite features in DLC2: the updated version of the Devil Clock where you have to fight enemies in the wrong order to prevent them from forming too powerful hands

y'all are seriously not ready for how good the soundtrack is in this chapter. it's nuts. everyone went like 10x harder than frankly they had any reason to, it's some of the best stuff in the entire game no question

there's an enemy in dlc2 with a weird bifurcated health bar and in order to make it fit right I had to increase the health bar size from 5px tall to 6px. it is now constantly distracting me. I keep catching myself staring at it in confusion while testing other things

If you want to feel completely unmoored from reality I recommend that you take an element that's been set in stone for over four years of development and increase its size by exactly one pixel in height
