of course you respond with “yes and”, even if you have another idea in your head, you are building a world together so shutting the other person down is not helpful. You can question or show apprehension about an aspect but total rejection shuts down the scene

Responding with certain elements can really dramatize a scene— think “adding a candle to a first date scene” vs “adding an ex walking by”

I really liked the idea of slowly but repeatedly building sillininess /extremity of the idea. It works in all social situations where you build on a joke in a group let’s take the train to crazy town, but we have to stop at every station together
