Ok! Some notes after my IFS session. The conversation went surprisingly quickly at points. When I've tried to do IFS on my own, I've had a hard time concentrating or listening to the parts. Working with a therapist, I often immediately knew the answers.

I love hearing about this!! My bf once spoke directly to a part and it shocked me how much I felt a bystander, like you described

Yeah and I also feel the sense of older sibling relationship with protector and exile!! Really cool to feel this & then see someone else having a similar experience

Ok and last thing I ALSO feel that my parts have traits that I don’t, it’s like my personality is the center of a massive Venn diagram of all my parts. I play improv piano& when I let a part take over the music is different, same goes for journaling
