I am a mix of both but have more of an emotional attachment to a (fiction/poetry) book vs e-book.... the cover art, the tactile pleasure of the paper, the smell etc. Holding a new paper book makes me feel excitement and anticipation. I don't feel this with a kindle.
Same here— the cover art, the feeling of underlining your favorite pages, the feeling of the book becoming your friend as you carry it to various cafes and the spine gets a little worn down...
I like that idea of the book becoming your friend. I had not thought of that before but that is what happens....funny how a paper book can elecit so many emotions.
