Thoughts on expanding your range of emotional vocabulary— some people (particularly guys no offense) can only tell me they feel “bad” or “mad” or “sad”. Consider the other, more colorful emotional vocabulary at your fingertips!

got carried away because emotions are like candy and I have having fun choosing words. BUT there are other methods.... you can also articulate emotions in terms of physical sensations or body movements or thoughts that go hand in hand with the emotion/experience

or use metaphors / anecdotes, I tend to do this one. "I feel like a squashed bug."
