Any tips for a "healthy" way to respond when people ask you to justify your desires? Person: Do you want to do X? Me: No Person: Why not?

Instead of justifying, you can repeat that you don’t want to and then add “thanks for understanding” and if you really want to make it clear change the topic, look away, or walk away
