Woah this makes a lot of sense and also my mind is turning somersaults trying to feel it out. The transition feels like, instead of trying to escape you give up and embrace the suffocating thing, and upon acceptance you find that it is quite nice after all

Okay so trying this out— when I feel nauseous and suffocated, I can translate that into lust or arousal…. You know this actually makes sense to me as an escape route that leans more positive & is more physically grounded (thus less existentially painful)
