    CRAWLING OUT OF WINTER Today is the first day average high temperatures rise. For the last 22 days, Philadelphia average high was 40 degrees. Today it is 41, next week 42, and so on. We are heading towards Spring my friends. Oh heck, we really haven't had Winter yet.

    Saw the hijiki-daikon show today. Looks great! You don't peel daikon and butternut squash? Mirin: real is hard to find. I avoid the aji mirin with corn syrup. Maybe explain the diff to viewers. Thanks!
