JCJ’s full thread. It is hard to know what to say but as an attempt to trace the genealogy of an idea this is just so wackopic.twitter.com/35cz0TC7P5

Plenty of radicals read theory but also these ideas are just not going to have a singular origin point because they are very close to the bare fact of trans peoples experiences and lives
She appears to be trying to launder her belief that Rothblatt is a central figure in the trans rights movement away from something she got from the truly wildly conspiratorial Jennifer Bilek or heard secondhand on Twitter but she is telling lies

I’ve been trying to get a handle on the influence Bilek has had on the movement and what I see going way back in tweets that mention Rothblatt is not much of anything until Bilek got it going
It’s a combination of funny/sad how she’s learnt the name of one campaigner who predates her era...
Then proceeds to both undersell Prof. Stephen Whittle and make out he’s the Antichrist in the same tweet.

So after analyzing all this business I have come to the conclusion that you look extremely cute in a scrunchie
Ty if I can establish that much I will be satisfied
