I have discovered that I very much do not want to know the answer to that, on the grounds that it will probably make me throw up.

Dawkins can't imagine anyone not wanting to sleep with him.

Call me weird, but if that was all that Dawkins was saying why say it? It's proper "bears shit in woods" territory and a bit late to be reminding us all *again* that selection is a part of evolution. If what he was saying was that we should be asking about eugenics though..

this "oh I am just talking about theory" line doesn't work when you're saying it to a platform that you know will take it literally ivory towers don't have a twitter connection

I really doubt they're capable of separating their own analogies and vocabulary at this point. Even Colin's method seems to be to insist Dawkins means something different than what he said only Colin can discern, and everybody else is an idiot for not knowing it.pic.twitter.com/NPYjKESbFD

And we're already far into hell on this issue, but Hitler was also very fond of the analogy of humans to breeding animals to justify eugenics.pic.twitter.com/EDp84IsQXy

I suspect Dawkins was implicitly addressing the folks who place humans in a category all their own, harboring superstitious ideas that we're biologically special compared to other life, operating along different lines. He just used selective breeding to drive home the point.
