An unsurprising but sad and scary story from , with direct experience from Sunday night. One can imagine these kinds of incidents growing worse if the virus spreads and worsens:

  8. I talked to Uber and Lyft riders experiencing racism and xenophobia because of fears about the coronavirus. In some cases, drivers are refusing to pickup riders with "Asian-sounding last names."

  11. The saddest part about the Elizabeth Holmes legacy is that it's tainted a lot of folks in bio-tech trying to do cool stuff, even those obsessed with evidence. And certainly almost everyone in diagnostics.

My doctor’s office is using something called Phreesia for check in. The sign up included a page where I could “share information with Phreesia” that they’d send to market stuff to me. SUPER creepy and in the midst of a lot of fine print stuff most people wouldn’t notice.
