Oh no, no. This is horrible. I'm so sorry. She has always been my inspiration as an author. It was my dream to meet her one day. I almost did back in 1995 when I was at her Memnoch Ball. I met her best friend, who had told me I just missed her. I told her how much I loved Anne.

I explained that my name is Chris and my birthday is March 11th... My middle name is Anne. Not significant, but as another paranormal author, I guess I felt some odd connection. Chris, I am so very sorry for your loss. This world will never be the same without her!

Thank you for sharing and I’m so very sorry for your loss. I started reading The Vampire Chronicles when I was 13 in 1983 & own every one in that series as well as all of The Mayfair Witches series and several others. Her stories enthralled me and sent my mind back in time.
