With 90% approval from Republicans, I will say it again: Donald Trump embodies what Republicans want in a president and political figure. He *is* the Republican party. He *is* conservatism.

No! Paul Ryan is correct to support Donald Trump, just like that surgeon outside Pittsburgh is. Just like the payday lending industry is. There's no waving away politics, there's no waving away conflict. In fact, it's only going to intensify and everyone should understand that.

Is it in the GOP’s interest to have their party indicted for RICO violations? For having a president, his campaign & team indicted for criminal wrongdoing ? It’s not confusion or sleepwalking once Mueller completes his probe to know the GOP will face the sour music.

I see this more with Republicans swearing this isn't their party that it has been corrupted by Trump and going on and on saying they won't secede their party. They are in DENIAL that they have been left behind

"The Revolution" will come when the Trump Democrats wake up to the fact that they are getting screwed by the Republicans and that is our only hope.

Which is why we need to support Democrats who oppose them and who can WIN (e.g. NOT far left ideologues in places like WV and MO). Because in MO you either get a Claire McCaskill or you get a Roy Blount. You don't get a Bernie Sanders. Not yet, anyway. Support Dems who can win.

Bernie Sanders beat Hillary Clinton by a significant margin in the WV primary. The idea that democratic socialism only appeals to the coasts is a fallacy.

In 2016, the Dem establishment bet America's future on the existence of a large number of decent conservatives. It turned out that there weren't enough to fill a Waffle House. They don't seem to have learned their lesson.

When my wife campaigned for Hillary in Trump country, she told me that the senior citizens there were positive that the GOP would not touch their entitlements. With the deficient looming and cuts in SS and Medicare a possibility, the Trump seniors will have to wake up to reality.

Maybe that's because the media did a million stories claiming Trump won because he focused on the opioid crisis, saving factory jobs, & reducing healthcare premiums - all things he's made worse instead of better since taking office.
