Places with low levels of community transmission (like NYC) should be doing everything possible for full time in-school teaching. I 1000% understand resistance to that, but the costs of another remote semester are going to be borne most heavily by families w/ the fewest resources

I don’t believe the no one - there’s plenty of places what have mitigated risk from the virus and should be sending kids back with safeguards. That’s just not most of America.
