Because there is no charge, no trial, no guilty verdict and no judgement. We have a legal system in this country that stops people from being locked up without all these things.

As the grandchild of holocaust survivors (and victims) and a US citizen, I've spent the last year securing another passport for my children. The same writing is on the wall - I hope I'm an alarmist, but damn if I'm not gonna learn from history.
