Awful. Embarrassed by the attention yesterday, the city displaced ARCH campers today under the cover of darkness.
People were not offered housing & w/ state sweeps of the closest underpass imminent, they have nowhere else to go near the services offered downtown.

At 4:08 AM APD & Austin Resource Recovery displaced the ARCH Camp. They stole belongings w/ the orange claw pictured below. Campers grabbed what they could and moved across the street.
Sleepers were told if they set back up they’d be cited and arrested.
