    Hundreds of thousands of young people in this country live every day in fear of their family being torn apart. They deserve better. Congress must finally end this nightmare by providing Dreamers with a pathway to citizenship. And we need to do it as soon as possible.

    From the Dream Act to DACA, young immigrants have spent decades fighting for a pathway to citizenship. Congress shouldn’t be the sole obstacle standing in their way. It's long past time to pass protections for Dreamers—through whatever means necessary.

    Yesterday’s Federal court ruling is deeply disappointing. While the court’s order does not now affect current DACA recipients, this decision nonetheless relegates hundreds of thousands of young immigrants to an uncertain future. It is my fervent hope that Congress will act.

    DACA recipients will continue in this back and forth, deja vu, state of limbo until Congress acts. The only way to protect immigrant youth, including DACA recipients, TPS holders, farm workers & other essential workers is a pathway to citizenship through reconciliation!
