Do we know anyone who had a fraudulent for-profit university? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/05/13/business/education-department-for-profit-colleges.html …pic.twitter.com/OH2gk4YYxV

Good grief. I didn’t assert any of the straw men you’ve lined up above. I don’t know where this is coming from or even what your disagreement is. What’s wrong with “confidently declaring” that this administration’s policy direction is reflective of the president’s own history?
OK, Pup. I think I posed a pretty simple point up top — that this is reflective of DeVos and her people’s priorities and is not just a TrumpU-related thing — but you’ve wound it around to something else altogether. Have a good night.
Ok let’s wind it down then. Your language changed from “this has nothing to do with trump” to it’s “not just a TrumpU-related thing” which made it hard to follow on my end. Of course I agree with the latter formulation. Have a good night too.
I think the point is that it's not so much TrumpU specifically, as that he and DeVos believe in the fundamental principle that for-profit schools should be able to rip students off. It has "nothing to do with Trump" in the sense that there's no ongoing investigation of TrumpU.
You can’t be this Dense! You just can’t. Trump hired Devos. The link is obvious. Nobody mentioned Trump University. The issue is much bigger. Just read the article
That’s ... my point. And Pup’s original tweet is, indeed, a reference to Trump University, which is why I commented in the first place.
No idea, I thought she was just a backer and party to Prince/Devos back channel stuff. But it’s worth noting that Obama is long gone, and Trump hasn’t let any of that go yet. I’m beginning to think he holds grudges.
I’m lost on this. I can think of at least one other pretty huge reason to hire devos, her brother Eric Prince
