Trump was asked about this today and said, "Rudy understands this better than anybody. But when he made a certain statement — he just started yesterday." Which, of course, doesn't really make sense.pic.twitter.com/HjB7fZu8Pb

Now, @lachlan and @jdawsey1 report that Giuliani will be issuing a new statement, which Lachlan says will be "correcting" some of his earlier comments. Giuliani, per Dawsey, says that "it's a question of misinterpretation."pic.twitter.com/OXqbxdQLnW
Giuliani confirms to me that a statement is coming, that it's coming from him, and that he's "still writing it."
[I’ll have more on this. The statement does not make sense given the specifics of Giuliani and Trump’s prior comments (including Giuliani’s to me directly) — not to mention Cohen’s.]
SORRY, it took a while for me to pull this one together. Story coming shortly.
Rudy Giuliani's "Clarifying" Statement Didn't Really Clarify Much:https://www.buzzfeed.com/chrisgeidner/rudy-giuliani-trump-clarifying-statement?utm_term=.ksywe1gaR …
Don't be coy by saying appeared. If you are of the view it conflicted, just say so. If uncertain, say nothing.
I'm not being coy. It appears to conflict. Good lawyers can often find ways to insert information that makes seemingly conflicting information not actually be conflicting.
So, to say it definitely conflicts would be bad journalism. As such, I'll keep it as I said it.
As I pointed out: the other option was to say nothing.
That's not journalism. Good bye.
Saying nothing is also journalism.
This just in: Rudy Giuliani yells “YOU KIDS GET OFF MY LAWN”, then wanders off mumbling to himself.
‘Oh my goodness!’
I'll say it 4 u since I'm not a journalist...not that Guiliani is above lying but he told the truth the 1st time, the Liar-in-chief thinks he can lie his way out of everything & his flunkies will fall in lockstep. They're all lying!!!! Mueller will figure it out, he's not a liar.
