JUST IN: Paul Manafort's lawyer in his DC criminal case, at almost 10:30 pm tonight, filed a request to have an extension of the weekend and Monday to file his motion to suppress the evidence obtained by Mueller's team.pic.twitter.com/jAWDfUHvUs

It is after midnight, and Judge Amy Berman Jackson did not rule on Manafort's request for an extension of time to file a motion to suppress regarding the search of the residence. Nor did his lawyer file such a motion. So, in theory, it's now out of time.

Love the excitement for a 4a story, tbh.
HERE IT IS —> Manafort Says The FBI's Search Of A Storage Unit Was Illegal, Wants Evidence Tossedhttps://www.buzzfeed.com/chrisgeidner/paul-manafort-says-the-fbi-illegally-searched-a-storage?utm_term=.gqv8nXER6 …
Color me skeptical of the argument made by Manafort's lawyers in their late Friday night filing: https://www.buzzfeed.com/chrisgeidner/paul-manafort-says-the-fbi-illegally-searched-a-storage?utm_term=.hlb6rQ5E8#.frvYvn1a3 …pic.twitter.com/OhQrCFVA6a
How many spaces are there after those periods?!?! I feel like I could fit a whole novel in those rivers.
two spaces — but with full justify — it looks like.
For shame! He really should read the authoritative and amazing book by @typogforlawyers
Correction @mbutterick
Except that they later admit that the former employee is on the lease?
Holy crap. That evidence will be out.
Given the employee being on the lease agreement, I'm not sure that is that likely.pic.twitter.com/OS4x1bOyNT
Interesting. There is precedent on what employee thinks or that does not count without the lease back up. Seems slippery but intriguing
a former employee who happened to be the legal lessor of the storage unit...
Looks like he doesn't understand FISA... why he got searched the first time.
Why did they redact the employee Alexander Trusko’s name throughout the motion but not on the copy of the lease attached to the motion?
“Just because he had the authority to sign the lease and was named as the occupant on the lease of the storage unit doesn’t mean he wasn’t really just a low level coffee boy and the FBI SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT HE COULDNT CONSENT TO LETTING THEM LOOK IN THERE.” P. M.
He was just a coffee boy giving consent to search.
