Not sure what you're asking. If RR removes Mueller, he could replace him with another SC, or allow Wray to supervise the investigation under RR's own control.

No, as long as the acting DAG is a senate-confirmed official. E.G. Francisco or a US attorney (or Pruitt!)...not an associate DAG or something.

I don’t think the third area (almost completely unexplored in the piece) is necessarily wrong, but we certainly wouldn’t know initially unless Trump said that was his reason. I think the first two areas are off the mark.
