Two years ago today, President Obama introduced his nominee to the Supreme Court, Judge Merrick Garland. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to move on the nomination, Trump won the election, and President Trump instead nominated now-Justice Neil Gorsuch for the spot.pic.twitter.com/5aBQpUnZnp

Mitch's days are numbered the next time his reelection comes up I guarantee you he's either going to retire or he's going to be slaughtered by the Blue Wave

I'm going to enjoy the payback when the dems retake the senate and Trump tries to nominate a SCOTUS justice.

Trump has named his 2020 campaign manager. There's an active presidential campaign on, and the GOP senators are on record that the Senate shouldn't confirm justices during a campaign. :)

If Trump is determined an illegitimate president bye bye Gorsuch. It isn’t honorable to take what belongs to another Gorsuch. You are forever known as the illegitimate and dishonorable justice.

It was just another example of how the GOP isn't the Grand Ole Party. They're the Greedy Ole Party. Mitch wanted to make Obama a one term president. GOP was hell bent on making Obama fail per Mitch McConnell's guidance.

Remember how Obama nominated a centrist, even though it dispirited the Dem base in an election year, because it would mean the GOP couldn't refuse to vote on him?pic.twitter.com/dCPv5oHCQd

It wasn't the 'base' who stayed home or wasted votes. Clinton received more votes than candidate BESIDES Obama. Anyhoo, if a Garland over a Gorsuch wasn't enough of a motivator, not to mention more potential SCOTUS openings, you are drowning in privilege.
