#PA18 race. The only mandatory recounts in PA are for statewide candidates and issues.8 replies 53 retweets 95 likesShow this thread -
Others' tweets appear to confirm my conclusion on mandatory recounts. Here's the only mandatory recount provision I've found: http://codes.findlaw.com/pa/title-25-ps-elections-electoral-districts/pa-st-sect-25-3154.html …pic.twitter.com/buLN9Jqayt

Adam Bonin @adamboninIf I have to, I'll explain. Promise. But the first important thing to know is that this is not a count tonight; it's unofficial and does not include absentee or provisional ballots. The formal count begins Friday, & overseas/military absentees have until next Tues to come in. https://twitter.com/Redistrict/status/973737120824283136 …Show this thread1 reply 30 retweets 35 likesShow this thread
[tl;dr: There's a reason why I'd not said what I found (in my preliminary review) beyond the mandatory recount rules. It's complicated, and I am not an expert on it! As always, listen to experts first!]
