Am I missing something? There's no point in having the rider if you're the producer, you can just hire whoever you want. It only for movies he's not producing but if they want to hire him they also have to commit to these demands for inclusion.

I think he means that if those he hires require an inclusion rider, he will follow through on it. It’s awesome that he’s acknowledging it. I haven’t seen another entertainment company do that.

This is like going to a job interview and the person interviewing you saying "If I hire you you are going to compel me to hire more women." Which is insane. Jordan wants to hire more women or whatever he can just hire them. This serves no purpose other than to generate publicity.
