Isn't the legislature not even going to be in session during the time between the proposed special election and the general election?

Why does that matter, Kyle? People deserve representation on committees, in bill drafting, in caucuses, and in the other legislative work that goes on when the legislature isn't in session. Had Walker called elections on January 2, the primary could have been held last week. 1/

There may also be special sessions called. Walker's fear of the outcome of any elections cannot be allowed to govern whether he complies with the law.
