CNN responded to this claim, saying there is "absolutely no truth" to it, this morning, long before @TuckerCarlson (apparently) covered it and @realDonaldTrump tweeted it.pic.twitter.com/qcSJvK1uQ0

Tucker is literally creating fake news, live on camera. Does he really think no one will notice?
It's so strange.
So I’m supposed to be surprised that a producer edits down speeches and questions to fit into a time-limited event? I’m never shocked anymore at how stupid Tucker is...
It's not Tucker being stupid, it is Tucker being dishonest.
Why does kids not wanting to die bloody, painful deaths - while in school - threaten Tucker so much?
Perhaps his question was poorly written and CNN edited it.
Bingo! Clearly the kid is not the most eloquent. CNN was probably just trying to save him from embarrassment.
Kid seemed pretty eloquent to me
I really thought I was the only one who noticed he always looks lost. Lol
he's getting revenge for all the times his head was stuffed in a toilet when he was a kid
Sounds like thecproducer bent over backwards for thst kid.
'Watch Tucker try to change what this student is saying.'
A @FoxNews modus operandi.
A while back the wife said, 'Let's see what Fox has to say.' Flip channels. Fox was showing a clip of a Democrat speaking. Cut to studio where they criticized things he hadn't said. Flip.
Emma G. told @DLoesch they would care for her kids better than she would. Are we to believe that was looked over by a producer for her like this student's Q was?
Tucker has been studying his Hannity handbook so he can become a big tool for Trump.
While I agree Tucker was bent on spinning, I think CNN the producer was at fault, why not let the kid ask his question the way he wants, or is it an industry standard that producers review and rewrite questions.
