Not sure what you’re talking about. All three of those moments are facts, so I’m not sure what reality you’re in. Also: I don’t know who you mean by “us” and what you mean by “move forward.”
The events occurred. It is not bowing. It is a cynical line to say that if someone engages someone else that it is kowtowing. Romney has shown himself to be decent. Thanking someone is polite. Us is the US. Vilifying everyone on the right doesn't help.
I think Romney’s actions in 2012, 2016, and 2018 constitute a genuflection/bowing/diminishment of Romney’s presentation of himself that he puts forth at most other times — particularly with regard to how he treats Trump. When he feels he needs him or wants something, he bows.
Romney himself basically acknowledged as much in 2012, his face did so in 2016, and, well, here we are today. Romney might do so bc he thinks it’s necessary for him to do to get the job he wants—so he can do the good he thinks he can do—but that doesn’t change that he does it.
