No. Unless we are expanding on the definition of ableism, which I thought, had to do with disability discrimination? It's more a sizeism than ableism issue.

ah, I talk so much about sizeism as a way to discuss bodily size and didn't think about it for D size. That is probably a really good way to discuss it, too. Thanks for this, friend.

This was my (primary) concern with this; it seems like using that label for something like penis size or height or hair color takes away from the specific issue "ableism" is seeking to address.

did you see my larger point above as to why I used that term?

I don't see specifically where you explain why you used ableism, no.

Ah, yeah. I see that as being the reason to describe it as an -ism — but I'm not sure I see why that means it is "ableism." Almost all of the other "-isms" we use have to do with taking aim at similar hierarchies.

But, this is a side issue of your broader point, of course, so I'll leave it be. I think this is key and correct — https://twitter.com/mathewrodriguez/status/961035567235395584 … — and I just think the framing as it as ableism could take away from the underlying purpose of the discussion and why it matters.

Thank you for that feedback, I've heard from a few different peopel about this and want to go back to the drawing board with it! Though I think that it's a multi-faceted problem taht includes sizeism and racism and that ableism is a small part of it though not the whole thing
