It's a two-box day at #SCOTUS! We will, at long last, have opinions — coming in 5 minutes!
First decision is in Nat'l Assoc of Manufacturers v. Dep't of Defense. Opinion is by Sotomayor, unanimously reversing the 6th Circuit. Chief Justice Roberts is reading the opinion for her. #SCOTUS
Here is the decision: https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/17pdf/16-299_8nk0.pdf … #SCOTUS
Second decision is in Artis v. DC. Opinion by Ginsburg, reversing the DC Court of Appeals, joined by Roberts, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan. Gorsuch dissents, joined by Kennedy, Thomas, and Alito. #SCOTUS
The Chief Justice, again, is reading the opinion. (There are no arguments today, so it's possible he's alone up there. We're down in the press room just hearing the audio piped in.)
Final decision of the day is DC v. Wesby. Opinion by Thomas (who is here and reading!), reversing the DC Circuit. There are no dissents, but Sotomayor and Ginsburg write separately.
Sotomayor concurs in part and in judgment. Ginsburg concurs only in judgment.

FYI: We are told by our colleagues who went up to the courtroom that Ginsburg, Breyer, Alito, and Sotomayor were not on the bench this morning. #SCOTUS
