When confronted by followers about his snarky targeting of Kamala Harris, @chrisgeidner just copy and pasted his response explaining himself. I think that says a lot about his character when it comes to ridiculous attacks on female political figures.

No. That is not what happened. I had my initial response, explaining what I was thinking because I didn’t want to NOT respond to anyone. That IS how seriously I took people’s issues with the tweet. Then, I continued to discuss further in threads w people for the next 3 hours.

Yes. I wanted to respond to every person. Is that bad? I then CONTINUED in responses (which you conveniently ignore there) for the next several hours.

I wasn’t saying that I didn’t send one initial response. I did, and then continued to discuss it with people who wanted to engage further.

You read my initial tweet in a way that is not how I had intended it and now are reading my responding to concerns for three hours as a negative thing — and attacking my “character” as part of that — while ignoring the extent of the conversation I had with many people.

I just don't understand why you felt the need to attack Kamala Harris in that way and then when confronted about it just copy and pasted a response. It comes across as disingenuous. As if you didn't care and are rolling your eyes at people getting mad.

It wasn’t an attack, and I was genuinely confused by the responses! I didn’t want to ignore anyone, but I also didn’t want to spend the next 6 hours on it. I gave the initial response, explaining what I was thinking, and then followed up with people who responded further.

I thought that was the easiest way to engage with the dozens of people raising the questions. And, while you are today seeing it as a copy and paste dismissal, that was not what it was! It was, truly, aimed at being the opposite. I didn’t want to ignore anyone.
