The headline there, with its “Make Trump” framing, removes independent thought and judgment — and, hence, responsibility — from the person who is now president.https://twitter.com/blakehounshell/status/953053507204075521 …

I think you are overthinking this...
-
This is a step away from “don’t get so emotional,” so I’m just going to end this conversation. I’ve made my point.
-
It does seem like you misinterpreted the article’s headline because you are personally close to the issue
-
Lol. No, I didn’t misinterpret anything.
-
“Falsely portrayed”. It refers to tabloid media, yet you are interpreting it as saying all New Yorkers. That seems like a misinterpretation
-
Um. No, that’s not what I’m saying at all, and that’s not even what the discussion is about. You should read through the thread.
-
I did, and the root of your problem with the headline is that New Yorkers of all stripes knew it was a panic and didn’t buy into it when the entire point is that Trump did buy into it. I would appreciate if you could speak to me like an adult without the sarcasm and condescension
-
No, that’s not “the root of my problem,” it has nothing to do with my problem, and you began this conversation with condescension, so that’s what you’re stuck with.
