Why do liberals think so lowly of black people that they assume they cannot get a photo ID? I'll bet they think black people can't drive either. How come no civil rights suits over the that?
Not a liberal (mod conservative) but forcing someone to buy an ID so they can vote is equivalent to a poll tax that was abolished in the 60’s. This is the premise for objections of many I know. It has nothing to do with race

Sigh. We are so screwed.
We can win back Congress and the Oval Office without Alabama but we should fight hard for all citizens everywhere to ensure government bends over backward to welcome voters. I want a federal law that people age 18 are automatically registered and their ID card mailed to them.
Didn’t Alabama close most of the DMVs in minority counties?
what does this mean?
Still need to id to vote in al
Anyone think Trump will attack this court/judge as "unfair"?
It costs money to get an ID, and you need an ID to vote, then it costs money to vote. That’s a poll tax, and poll taxes are illegal
I didn't say an ID was "unfair", just noting the hypocrisy of Trump, only attacking the decisions he doesn't agree with. He does not respect the rule of law, that is a proven fact
Because you don't get to attack the judicial system as President just because you don't agree with the decisions. It is the reason we have separate branches of govt. Trump only likes & respects the judges who agree with him
Haven't seen a decision yet where the broke the law? Or did we miss where these judges were brought in on charges for breaking the law?
