What did that have to do with being straight or white?
Fits the profile of the cliche mansplainer. I have been noticing an uptick in people getting crotchety with other people who seem to be just making a good faith attempt at discourse on a social media platform, God forbid.
Thanks! I see now I misread "was on the call" as "wasn't," so I was wrong too. No worries! Probably is a LCrR encouraging counsel to call court to clarify minor ambiguities rather than file mtns, but judge wisely wants everything on the record in this case of national interest.
Someone else posted that actual Order says "don't call," which may or may not contravene the standing CrR or LCrR rules for that jurisdiction. I don't practice there, but rules vary a bit from place to place. It is sometimes difficult not to err even if you "know" the rules.
I agree with the alien guy. I litigate cases in federal court and it would be common and proper for the court to make this record, especially since they left a message on a voice mail system, thereby creating an electronic record of the event.
