Probably executive privilege as to Scavino re any advice & what he may have simply witnessed or learned.

-
That's not how it works. First, several of the questions relate to topics from before Trump became president, and second, executive privilege can only be invoked by the executive, not a staffer.
-
Didn't Sessions buy time by refusing to answer Qs because POTUS might wish to review Qs & then invoke executive privilege on Comey firing? Suggesting that Scavino may do same and/or POTUS may invoke executive privilege as to Feinstein Qs until posed re Comey.
-
Yeah. That's not the same as invoking executive privilege.
-
I have so understood.
-
The existence of the possibility of executive privilege is not the same as invoking it — and, in addition, as I noted, much of the letter refers to pre-Inauguration activity.
-
I didn't suggest that executive privilege potentially encompassed pre-inaugural activity; only the Comey firing issue #2 in Feinstein letter - Scavino could delay/defer/demand Qs in advance to determine scope so executive could determine whether to invoke EP or not.

I believe a subpoena would be required ,

A subpoena is required to ~require~ production, not to ~request~ it.

Where did you get your Law degree ? A request will never produce any request , iepic.twitter.com/adARm2XjhV
