Still no word from DOJ on whether it plans to take further legal action — in Stone or Doe (or Karnoski in Washington state) — to try and get the injunctions partially stayed so Mattis can delay the Jan. 1 deadline further. DOD says it’s planning to allow trans military recruits on 1/1 under court order; DOJ hasn’t seemed to be trying too hard to stop that for the past 36 hrs. Assuming DOJ isn’t going to SCOTUS Sat, Sun, or Christmas, that leaves only 4 weekdays to fight the accession deadline ...
