Is it entirely clear that Rosenstein actually made these decisions, or is it possible that Sarah Flores is simply *saying* he did? Who are the "senior ethics officials" she is talking about? There is more to this story.
I didn’t get the sense from the hearing that Rosenstein authorized the selective release, but I was at work so could be mistaken. But I do remember when it came up. But we need to know who authorized it, who invited reporters, and which reporters were invited.
Agree. I think he may not have even understood that was what the question was about. Something is fishy, but I don't think it's Rosenstein. (Altho he appears to be too quick to throw long-term employees under the bus.)

It's such an odd skill, isn't it? Listening to testimony and remembering it. Surprising how often it comes in handy. (I knew there had to be *some* benefit to being a lawyer.)
Haha he was careful. He knows how to play this game! But see: CARTER PAGE
Yes. Oh boy. I feel strangely protective of him. Wonder if he has any friends. He needs an intervention. @chrislhayes has tried, in a way, but to no avail.
Indeed. Rather magnanimous gesture of @chrislhayes. While I feel somewhat bad watching him, this pretty much sums it up for me:https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-strange-pleasure-of-seeing-carter-page-set-himself-on-fire …
Treason Weasels are on the loose.
The public has the right to see the FBI corruption up front.
The DOJ OIG has a different view. He's apolitical so I'll go with him.
