I just wanted to follow up on that and talk about something that a therapist talked with me about in early 2014 that has stayed with me.

I've struggled with depression since I was a child and I have my tricks, too. I break things down into the smallest possible activity (walk 3 laps around the downstairs), anything to get me moving. Good luck to you as you navigate your way back to baseline.

It worked for me. I did it with jogging. Same theory, same execution. Also yoga. I view it as changing the dominant state from the mind or emotions to the body~ and eventually the combined body.

Thanks for your posts! As the nights get longer and the days stormier, it's sometimes hard to be upbeat. I definitely have to get past my mantra of "anything worth doing is worth overdoing"
