Whether this is an excuse aside, this is a classic example of something that’s been known for months - that others, primarily Scavino but others, have access to the twitter feed - being treated like a revelationhttps://twitter.com/prchovanec/status/937417266274209799 …

No one has said Dowd posted it. They’ve said he wrote it. You can have a different discussion about checks internally to keep things like that from posting.
-
Oh, sorry, you confused me with your statement that "others, have access to the twitter feed."
-
I mean, if so, then why wasn't the response to this guy, "No one said Dowd has access to Trump's Twitter account."
-
Um because nothing ever follows that Linear a progression?
-
I'm so confused.

This just seems like quibbling. The interesting thing is that someone else wrote and posted the tweet - other people are accessing POTUS's account so we are to assume that he doesn't control it so it's some kind of performance art? WTF?
-
And as to that, Maggie is completely right. We've known Scavino, at least, has access. The WH (i.e., Scavino or someone else in WH comms) is clearly posting the event/video/etc.-type ones.

Chris misses the point.
@realDonaldTrump is NOT a govt account. It is a personal account and no adversary plans to start a war off of it.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Would add that it'd be a revelation (if true) that Trump's *criminal lawyers* have access to his Twitter account to comment on the Mueller investigation

I also think like, there’s a lot happening all the time. The question didn’t get less important or urgent, and we haven’t ever gotten an answer
