This email from KT McFarland suggest Trump officials wanted to ease sanctions on Russia *explicitly because* of their help winning the election https://mobile.nytimes.com/2017/12/02/us/russia-mcfarland-flynn-trump-emails.html?referer=https://t.co/Rt9xh2iQjw?amp=1 …pic.twitter.com/QGVsmugCsF

Point 2 also concedes that McFarland believes the Russians may have done it (and Obama may have better non-public evidence), but they’re all still against the sanctions?

I don’t get this “predicting what Dems would say” argument. How? The one time she references what Dems say it’s explicit (in point one), and even then still in her voice. Two and three don’t even do that.

Well, NYT should have done so in the first place, yes. I presumed they didn’t have permission to do so. ... In any event, I just don’t get how it can be read that way. None of the rest of it is in Dems’ voice. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I WOULD think she would've specifically put "which threw the election to him" in quotes if she meant it in Democrats voice. But, I do think there's enough reasonable doubt there. But perhaps there's further correspondence that would clarify what she REALLY believed.

Eh, not really because of how she changes voice. But, I do agree it could go either way and really is of no use ultimately. She’s a shockingly bad writer quite frankly, for someone in her position. Jr High schoolers could write more articulately.
