It’s my life, and it’s a wonderfully complex one that is so much more manageable with sobriety, and I find my way through — often quite well!

But, I have great friends and family. I have professionals I can turn to. And I have tools that I’ve learned over the past 19 years make it better.

I'm not bipolar, but I suffer greatly from depression, and generalized anxiety disorder in particular. I have these bouts of being nearly paralyzed with anxiety - sometimes not leaving the house for days. I'm sorry you are going through this.

I'm sorry Chris, I wish it were different for U. It is pretty bad to not get out of bed until after 4pm. No advice, don't suffer from mental illness & not close to anyone who does. Hugs aren't enough but that's all I got for you. Stay strong and PUSH your way back. You CAN do it!
