Can't speak for Chris but IMO regardless of Abramson himself or what ppl think of his input, explosive headline based on one lawyer's tweetstorm. They slapped a "top legal expert" tagline on & left it there. Silly journalism. Particularly so for significant legal proceedings.
I agree that an article based on a tweet thread is pretty backward, especially if the thread is accusing reporters of not doing enough of their own work.

Wait, there are people who take him seriously? I follow him to keep track of what he’s spewing, but I always assume he’s somewhere b/t the outer limits of reason and Louise Mensch.
