I think he meant there is a chasm in the industry, and we should think about what that means, like how the industry might be reshaped/who might fill the void. But who knows...could have meant anything.
but it’s obvious women could fill the void. they’ve been boxed out for years, in no small part to rampant sexism.
And as it stands now, it ain't like literally 90% of men in Hollywood, entertainment in general have been accused of wrongdoing. There is, obviously, a lot of remaining and *potential* talent around that aren't awful, and that's the goal we all want to see achieved.
