Does that excuse the kind of things that account "liked?"
-
I mean, I have a zillion things "liked." I don't think anyone thinks "likes" mean you actually need to "like" the thing. (Cc:

Then why didn't the Alameda County Sheriff's office just run with the "RTs don't equal endorsements" line and call it a day?
-
Because they didn't want it up on their account?

-
And left it there for hours after people tweeted repeatedly about the white supremacist's tweet sitting on their account. I don't buy it.
-
(Also: It wasn't "hours." It was, at most, a little more than an hour, and he explained there was confusion.)

They're lying because they follow verified white supremacists like Baked Alaska.
-
Check the original thread from the local who voiced this. There's receipts in the thread. Obviously they unfollowed when they were caught.

I mean, here's my thread from last night: https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/897340727767822337 … ... I've been looking, and I didn't see Baked Alaska in there.
-
Nonetheless, I mean, it would fit if they had followed some of the most prominent agitators. (They shouldn't have done so from main acc't.)
-
I'm looking for it. It was near where someone posted they had a bunch of Blue Lives Matter stuff up and someone looked at who they followed.

Maybe it was a young intern? There's an Inter Blaming Game epidemic going around apparently

No, he says it was him. Also, note:https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/897528179878973441 …

Who knew Twitter was so complicated? NO ONE RETWEETS "ACCIDENTALLY". You need to click twice, to retweet.
-
You need to read the story, to know that's not true.https://twitter.com/chrisgeidner/status/897528179878973441 …
