Big story. But, a big caveat, too: This is simply a lawsuit being filed, which anyone can do at any time about anything.https://twitter.com/brianstelter/status/892352565064732672 …

Which by definition means you cannot bring such a suit. Please.
-
Won't survive MTD (or "cannot bring") is not equal to complaint not being physically received by clerk and docketed. Duh.
-
And there are rules that EVERY lawyer must follow as officers of court to NOT bring frivolous/meritless suits. That's how to get disbarred
-
Of course. Enforcement of R11 and state analogs is a separate step though. One that not every firm/client will take. You CAN allege 1/2
-
2/2 anything in a complaint. Sanctions are a separate q from whether such a complaint will be received by clerk.
-
But it's not separate from a Lawyer's statement saying anyone can do such. What are you advocating? Flood the courts with frivolous suits?
