"This was a decision based on what was best for the military." Contra: No, it wasn't, per Politico reporting: http://www.politico.com/story/2017/07/26/trump-transgender-military-ban-behind-the-scenes-240990 …pic.twitter.com/JG4Dcsdi42

@SHSanders45: "This was a decision about military readiness," unit cohesion, and resources within the military. -
"I really don't have anything else to add on that topic," Sanders says, threatening to end the briefing if trans service questions continue.
-
Sanders says there were "extensive discussions" with his national security team. (They've certainly not claimed that previously.)
-
I'd think leaving 1000s of units up in the air on the status of their trans service members impacts "military readiness" & "unit cohesion."

Ah... the President is Commander-in-Chief. So his way is forwards. Our military follows POTUS.
-
The military follows the people, we are their boss, he is manager.
-
I am saying that the military actually plans things. Big changes aren't announced w no understanding of how it affects deployed people.
-
Not Military, spefic entities who seak to make profit off war, and military is guilty in compliance.

Follow-up question should be how many meetings preceded the tweet, and with whom.
