I like
@ZekeJMiller and he does good work — but this pulled back right where it should have plunged ahead. -
If today marked a turning point for the White House, it's because it marked the day Trump gave up on trying it anyone else's way.
-
To do that, right as new lawyers inside and outside the White House are taking the lead (story: https://www.buzzfeed.com/zoetillman/trumps-new-lead-lawyer-denies-the-legal-team-is-looking?utm_term=.cfMoJ6ong#.rvlGeEGpb …) is contradictory.
-
Just as Trump is reducing the say of the lawyer he trusts (Kasowitz) in favor of DC guys (Cobb & Dowd), he's replacing Spicer w/ Scaramucci.
-
If I was on Trump's legal team, having a lawyer who is friends with the president become the WH comms director is ... treacherous.
-
Could be good for them if Scaramucci is able to pull Trump back from doing dumb things, but it also could be a way for Trump to answer-shop.
