Adams, Kobach & von Spakovsky represent a trio of conservatives who have long-established aims at reducing permissive voting rights laws.

Meet the newest Republican member of the presidential commission asking for every state's voter info, from February: https://twitter.com/electionlawctr/status/831537478507061248 …
Back to the EPIC suit: Nothing the commission did today is fundamentally different than the McGahn LPR letter or the sanctuary city AG memo.
Facing a judicial ruling against the admin, the response is to go w the plan until the courts are going to (or have) cut them off.
There are differences here: This was the commission's choice, not an issue with the executive order itself. So, on the front end it's diff.
But from the middle (implementation) to the back end, it's another vein in the same story.
EPIC responds in election com'n suit: "The Commission may not play 'hide the ball' with the nation's voter records." https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3892159-EPIC-Plaintiffs-Response-071117.html …pic.twitter.com/ScD5rlAwQM
